About the Author

Belle Frank is the creator of Anit and The Nickel in the Dust book series that tells the stories that explore the quiet strength of ordinary people, the healing power of love, and the courage it takes to uncover the truth. I've always believed that every family carries stories—some filled with joy, others with heartbreak, and many with truths waiting to be discovered.

Why This Book

As children,  we tell stories to explain the people around us. This is one such story that remained with me to adulthood and I want to share with the world. I hope to entertain, bring hope and teach lessons while reminding us that while the truth may be buried, it is never truly lost.

About Nickel & Dust Books

The Nickel in the Dust is the first novel in the series following a mysterious old woman known only as Anit, whose appearance is summoned. Each novel introduces a new family, a new mystery, and a new journey toward truth, justice, and hope.
